Description
What is a scholarly source? What is peer review? There are many terms that instructors incorporate into their instructions for research or inquiry-based assignments that can contribute to students’ challenges in meeting expectations for research assignments. This workshop will focus on highlighting key academic jargon related to research assignments. Participants will also learn about strategies and resources that will help to clarifying key terms and concepts for students.
For those affiliated with Ohio State, this workshop counts as credit toward the Teaching Information Literacy endorsement from the Drake Institute for Teaching and Learning.
