Join us every other week for CLSE Seminar Series for presentations of research in teaching and learning! Seminar Topic - Join, Director of the Writing Center, Dr. Genie Giaimo, for a continuation of the orientation workshop. At this seminar, Dr. Giaimo asks that attendees to bring one or both of the following: 1. A tested or untested writing to learn/low stakes writing assignment (that we will workshop/discuss in relationship to rubric development) 2. Anonymous student writing (from #1 if possible) to workshop how to respond to student writing. We will spend time putting into action lessons from the TA orientation to discuss rubric development for low stakes writing assignments and responding to student writing.
