Description
On Monday December 4th, CLSE will have a poster session during which students who have been involved in service-learning or course-based undergraduate research (instead of traditional labs) will present their work in a public scientific forum. We are very excited to see the products of the student experiences and think you will also be very interested in what they have done.
We are offering you the opportunity to attend the poster session, score four posters using a rubric, and then write a reflection paper using prompts provided at the event. The goal of this activity is for you to (a) see the diversity of projects conducted by introductory biology students, (b) interact with students regarding their research or service, and c) contribute data that will be used for the Biology Major Assessment Report.
Attendance at the poster session, completion of the rubric for four posters and the reflection paper will be worth 4 5001 points.
If you are interested in participating in this poster session, please contact Erica Szeyller by Monday December 4th at 10 am.
