Open Workshop: Safe Zone (DICE)
Admission: - RSVP Required

The Safe Zone Training aims to create a more welcoming and safe campus for individuals of all sexual orientations and gender identities. This 2.5-hour workshop is recommended for faculty, staff and students. Through this workshop, participants will (1) gain a greater understanding of LGBTQ identities and the systems of oppression that affect the community, (2) learn tools for incorporating LGBTQ-inclusive practices into your daily life, and (3) strengthen their skills in recognizing and interrupting anti-LGBTQ bias. The workshop is offered once a month and by request. All workshops are offered virtually on Zoom unless otherwise noted.

Registration is required. To register, go to: go.osu.edu/safezone

Those who attend the entire workshop (2.5 hours) will receive a "Safe Zone Trained" sticker to display.

This workshop is worth 2 DICE credits.

RSVP for the workshop with the CLSE here as well as at the event webpage linked above.

Following the workshop, email Amy Kulesza.5 to confirm your attendance for the full event time. If you were not able to attend the full event, email Amy Kulesza.5 to discuss the possibility of 5001 course points.
