Description
Now that Turnitin is available for use at Ohio State, instructors may have questions about how to make fair and effective use of these resources. In particular, what can OriginalityCheck tell you – and what does it not tell you – about whether a student’s paper includes plagiarized text? What issues do you need to consider as you interpret an OriginalityCheck report? What additional options are available to use Turnitin’s tools to help students learn how to research, write, and cite sources in effective and discipline-appropriate ways?
Please RSVP below as well as by following this link: https://carmen-services.it.ohio-state.edu/Events/Event/Details/158
After the event email Erica Szeyller-Macolley (szeyller-macolley.1@osu.edu) to confirm your attendance.
In this hands-on training session, we will review some sample OriginalityCheck reports and discuss the issues, best practices and techniques for using both OriginalityCheck and GradeMark.
