Description
Information literacy is more than being able to use a database to locate sources. Information literacy is also closely connected to students’ reading and writing practices. In this interactive workshop, co-presented by University Libraries and the Center for the Study and Teaching of Writing, you will learn more about the connections between information literacy, reading and writing. You will leave the workshop with ideas on how you can use writing to learn strategies to support students in developing their information literacy and integrated language and analytical skills. This workshop will take place on Thursday, July 14 from noon to 1 p.m. All are welcome.
