Description
Participants are invited to engage in this, "Assessment for Learning" Workshop Series event on gauging student prior knowledge. The third in a series of sessions designed to support effective use of assessment practices, the "Assessment for Learning" workshop series features Drake Institute staff and faculty from around Ohio State in sharing evidence-based approaches to assessment designed to support student learning.
After this workshop participants will be able to:
- Plan to measure student prior knowledge in the context of a course.
- Use knowledge checks to identify gaps and prevalence of misconceptions and misunderstandings.
- Apply a range of strategies to gauge student prior knowledge.
You will receive Zoom link 24 hours prior to the start of the session.
