Description
Many faculty and graduate students feel that they are impostors, fearing that at any moment their students or colleagues might perceive them as “frauds.” Participants will discuss common causes of feeling like an impostor in academia with the goal of helping participants identify concrete steps to recognizing their competence as teachers. GTA Toolkit is a workshop series designed specifically with graduate instructors in mind. Aimed at newer GTAs who are currently teaching, any graduate students who want to add to their teaching toolkit are welcome! Monthly breakfasts are co-sponsored by OUAB Grad/Prof. Register for the event with the CLSE here and at the event webpage: https://ucat.osu.edu/events/gta-toolkit-january-breakfast-imposter-syndrome/ Following the workshop, email Erica Szeyller.1 to confirm your attendance for the full event time. If you were not able to attend the full event, email Erica Szeyller.1 to discuss the possibility of 5001 course points.
