Description
When Good Intentions Backfire: Understanding the Impacts of Common Microaggressions
Description
This highly interactive 60-minute program will take a deeper dive into frequently witnessed and initiated microaggressions. Participants will work in small groups to identify the intention and impact of a variety of real-life microaggression scenarios. Basic knowledge about microaggressions is required. It is strongly recommended that participants first attend the program Introduction to Microaggressions: Small Actions That Have a Big Impact.

This event will be presented with automated closed captions. If you wish to request traditional CART services or other accommodations, please contact Laura Akgerman at akgerman.4@osu.edu or 614-292-0622. Requests submitted two weeks in advance will generally allow us to provide seamless access, but the university will make every effort to meet every request.

Please direct all other inquiries to Dr. Leo Taylor(.3408).
