Interested in pursuing the Drake Institute's Instructional Redesign (IR) program but worried about having the time to complete the process? IR doesn't have to be hard! In fact, IR projects can be simple and, at the same time, significantly impact student achievement.
To assist instructors in effectively designing, implementing and assessing instructional redesign, the Drake Institute for Teaching and Learning has developed several "IR Recipes." In this session, Institute consultants will share a Transparency in Learning and Teaching (TILT) Framework recipe with participants who will be able to immediately infuse that evidence-based strategy in their courses and identify approaches to assessing its impact.
Participants are only asked to arrive motivated to improve practice, and they’ll leave with a plan for effective, evidence-based change using TILT!
After this workshop participants will be able to:
- Describe the evidence-based Transparency in Learning and Teaching (TILT) framework.
- Plan implementation of TILT in their own context.
- Anticipate and overcome barriers to effective use of TILT.
- Identify appropriate assessments to measure the effectiveness of the TILT framework.
You will receive Zoom link 24 hours prior to the start of the session.
