Description
This one-hour studio session will provide opportunities to explore the functionality of PebblePad as a tool for students to create ePortfolios, specifically for General Education (GE) courses. You will learn how the tool is being used at Ohio State and reflect on how you can incorporate it in your own course. We will demonstrate the main features of PebblePad, show you specific steps for creating an ePortfolio in the tool, and provide time for you to practice those steps, ask individual questions, and problem solve with the guidance of knowledgeable OTDI staff.

Note: We highly recommended that you first attend the Leveraging ePortfolios in Your Course with PebblePad workshop on October 5 to learn about the use of ePortfolios as a teaching strategy and how PebblePad is currently being used by Ohio State students. A recording of a previous version of the workshop is also available to view on demand.

Find the CarmenZoom link in "Session Details" and in the registrant confirmation email.
To join:

  1. In the sign in window, select Sign In with SSO.
  2. The domain is osu.zoom.us. Select Continue.
  3. Sign in using your Ohio State Username (lastname.#) and password.
If you have never used CarmenZoom, you will need to activate your account before you can access the session. Please download the desktop client, or the app if using a mobile device, and log into go.osu.edu/carmenzoom to activate your account. For help, visit Getting Started in CarmenZoom in the Teaching and Learning Resource Center. Be sure to test Zoom at least one hour in advance of the session and contact the Service Desk at 614-688-4357 or carmen@osu.edu if you have any issues.

You must attend at least 30 minutes of this session for it to show as completed on your BuckeyeLearn transcript.
