Description
This Friday, October 6th, join a conversation with ACT: Two Teams about "Promoting Student Engagement and Motivation & Group Formation as an Approach to Collaborative Learning in a Heterogeneous Classroom."
This week we will hear from two more teams that participated in the ACT (Addressing Challenges in Teaching) summer program from NIST. The first team focussed on student engagement and motivation, while the other drilled down on student academic support.
Since April 2020, NIST has been running this widely-attended program for STEM faculty seeking pedagogical support to navigate the continuing challenges in the world of learning and teaching. SI community members, friends and affiliates have met up to discuss "all things teaching and learning in epic times."
