Description
Earlier this semester, the College of Medicine (CoM) hosted an Anti-Bias Curricular Review presentation by Dr. Amy Caruso-Brown. You can watch a recording of the presentation here. As a follow-up, the college will be hosting several workshops that allow participants to put into action what they have learned about the Upstate Anti-Bias Curricular Checklist.
Each of these workshops will be counted towards a singular event at 1.5 hours of credit towards the earning of the Inclusive Teaching endorsement through the Drake Institute.
For this third Inclusive Teaching workshop, we will dive deeper into thematic areas supporting inclusive teaching. These will include race, disability, gender, and mental health topics.
IMPORTANT: This workshop includes a required reflection to link what you learned to your teaching.
Make sure you RSVP with the CLSE and the hosting unit!
