Teaching through Writing, a 5-week WAC seminar on the teaching of writing
Thursdays, 9 AM-12 PM
March 21st, 28th, April 4th, 11th, & 18th
Are you looking for a supportive space to reimagine or develop a course writing assignment?
We know that instructors are often negotiating time and various responsibilities throughout the semester. This three hour a week commitment affords you an opportunity to:
· (Re)design an inclusive writing assignment and assessment plan
· Engage with instructors of writing from across the disciplines
· Explore pedagogical approaches concerning transparency, inclusivity, and access
· Receive and provide feedback at various stages of the drafting process
Join us for this WAC seminar and you’ll walk away with a new or redesigned assignment, new connections with colleagues, and an endorsement from the University Institute for Teaching and Learning to put on your CV (https://uitl.osu.edu/endorsement/teaching-through-writing).
Refreshments will be provided, and there are a limited number of seats available, so sign up to attend today!
** RSVP by March 18 here and at this link: https://osu.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_9zE2YyBg3Teq1Ex.
Following the workshop, email Erica Szeyller.1 to confirm your attendance for the full event time. If you were not able to attend the full event, email Erica Szeyller.1 to discuss the possibility of 5001 course points.
