nformation Literacy Virtual Workshop Series: Research as Inquiry
Studies show that students and instructors may have different understandings of the purpose and process of research. In order to effectively engage in the academic research process, it is important for students to develop an understanding of research as an iterative process of inquiry. This summer, University Libraries is offering a free virtual information literacy workshop series. The second workshop in the series will take place on Thursday, June 4 from noon - 1 p.m. and will cover the concept of Research as Inquiry. In this interactive workshop, you will identify some of the student learning bottlenecks that are related to this concept and learn practical strategies for helping students enhance their understanding of the academic research process.
