Description
As educators, we know our students are actively looking for “the answers” — for their homework, for their exams, and for the big life questions every new adult must ask: What are my values? What should I do with my life? How will I become an adult? This semester, the InterACT Theatre Company presents a 90-minute workshop that asks us to consider how we teach students to ask good questions and to problem-solve in a myriad of academic and life circumstances. Along the way, we’ll consider some of the potential intercultural strengths and needs our students may bring to problem-solving. This workshop is part of the Inclusive Teaching Endorsement offered by the University Institute for Teaching and Learning (UITL). For more information check out the following webpages: ** https://uitl.osu.edu/instructors/teaching-endorsements RSVP for the workshop with the CLSE here as well as at the event webpage: https://uitl.osu.edu/calendar/what-your-question-helping-students-problem-solve-and-out-college-classroom Following the workshop, email Erica Szeyller.1 to confirm your attendance for the full event time.
