In this seminar, we will explore components of second generation research in an introductory biology active learning classroom. Chacon-Diaz will present part of her findings from a case study focusing on interactions and behaviors in an active learning environment. Participants will reflect and discuss their own past and current teaching experiences regarding students’ interactions and behaviors.
