This workshop will invite participants to take a contextual approach to addressing academic integrity, particularly as it relates to writing and research. Drawing upon current research in writing studies, the Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) team will illustrate opportunities for students to better understand writing assignments and scholarly conversations in an instructor’s field. We will also model some ways of discussing academic integrity and writing with students in participants’ classes.
