Description
Group work often sounds like a good idea in theory, but how can you make it work for you? In this session, participants will explore different ways group work benefits student learning and can increase student independence. We will discuss ways to overcome challenges to successful group activities and you will also have the opportunity to develop a group activity appropriate for your own class.
GTA Toolkit is a workshop series designed specifically with graduate instructors in mind. Aimed at newer GTAs who are currently teaching, any graduate students who want to add to their teaching toolkit are welcome! Monthly breakfasts are co-sponsored by OUAB Grad/Prof.
