Description
"From Debate to Dialogue: Conversation Strategies to Build Connection Across Difference” is a training series presented by the Faculty Affair’s Community Building and Conflict Resolution (CBCR) unit and The Drake Institute for Teaching and Learning. The training is also a qualifying event for the "Foundations of Effective Learning Environments", offered through our campus partners at The Drake Institute for Teaching and Learning.

From Debate to Dialogue is a 2-day training opportunity where participants will learn to apply essential skills necessary to building affirming dialogue in the workplace and the classroom. This training will cover skills to help participants engage in difficult conversations effectively and compassionately while navigating and/or deescalating interpersonal conflicts that arise with our colleagues and/or students.

If you are in need of additional CART services or other accommodations, please contact Sophia Antoun at Antoun.5@osu.edu or 614-292-2646. Requests made two weeks in advance will generally allow us to provide seamless access, but the university will make every effort to meet requests made after this timeframe.

Must attend both days and complete required reflection!
