Description
Available data sets continue to grow in both size and complexity, resulting in new ethical concerns. Join us for a panel discussion on the use of Big Data in research. Our conversation will explore critical issues including: What should data transparency practices look like? How should researchers engage in research that can aim at the social good, but at the same time not undermine public trust?
Featuring Panelists:
Matthew Zook, MRP, PhD (University Research Professor in Geography, University of Kentucky & Managing Editor of Big Data & Society)
Pavarti Singh, PhD, MPA (Associate Professor in Epidemiology, OSU)
