Description
LEARNING GOALS
Participants in this session will be able to:
** Identify online learning situations where video can be most effective -- and those where other modes of learning may be more appropriate.
** Use basic strategies to produce quality video efficiently.
** Follow specific recommendations for tools they can use to capture, edit, and deliver video in their courses.
** Video is all around us and is becoming a greater expectation for inclusion in online classes. It has the ability to attract attention, engage an audience, and bring instruction to life.
But how does one who has little to no experience get started with creating self-made videos for their courses? How does one decide when to use video and how to do it effectively? What tools are available at minimal cost that novices can use to create quality videos? If these are questions you have asked yourself, join us for a webinar presentation by ODEE instructional designer, Jason Connelly, as he discusses the when, why, and how of using video for instruction in online courses.
Registrants will receive a link to join the event prior to the webinar.
