Description
Despite having many resources and opportunities at Ohio State to support their learning – grants, mentoring, research opportunities, faculty advising, library resources, wellness services, to name a few – often our students aren’t engaging with them. Join us as we explore potential invisible barriers students face in accessing campus resources. What keeps them away and how can we, as teachers, help them get the support they need. In this workshop, participants will be given the opportunity to interrogate and re-imagine several kinds of learning interactions as they may occur. InterACT is a theatre-based ensemble that uses interactive techniques to assist participants in developing success strategies and problem-solving common classroom scenarios.
