Description
We will be discussing How Learning Works: 7 Research-based Principles for Smart Teaching by Susan Ambrose et al. (2010). This is a must-read for college teaching!

You will be expected to read the assigned chapters and consider the provided discussion questions prior to attending the book group each week (see the meeting and reading schedule below for the discussion questions). You can write discussion prompts each week and post them on the associated Carmen Discussion board for an additional 2 points.
You can earn 8-10 points total: 2 points per meeting for reading ahead and contribution to discussion; 2 additional points if adds questions to Carmen discussion board prior to meeting each week (0.5 pts / week).
