Lecturing continues to be a widely used teaching strategy and yet is also a challenging one to do well. In this session we will explore various ways to improve lectures, including ways we introduce, organize, and present content. We will also discuss the science behind effective visuals, slides, and the importance of engaging students. Participants will use an example of their own lecture notes and slides to identify specific ways they can improve and refine future lectures.
