Description
The idea that “Information Has Value” is one of the core information literacy concepts in the Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education. But what does it actually mean to say that information has value? Why is it important for students to have an understanding of this concept? How does this concept connect with the research process? In this workshop, participants will explore the concept “Information Has Value” and will learn about activities and resources they can use to help students develop their understanding of this concept.
