Description
Join us every other week for CLSE Seminar Series for presentations of research in teaching and learning!
At this seminar Dr. Kathy Malone from the Department of Teaching and learning will join us to discuss the construction of a secondary level biology concept inventory and how they can help describe student thinking. The inventory covers the topics of evolution, growth and reproduction, population growth and interactions, energy and inheritance. Attendees will work in groups to analyze current questions and answer stems in order to attempt to investigate student reasoning and their alternative conceptions.
