Description
Information literacy is about more than being able to use a database or cite a source. It also incorporates critical consideration of the systems by which information is created, accessed, disseminated, used and valued. In this workshop, part of the University Libraries Information Literacy Virtual Workshop Series, you will have a chance to explore the connections between information literacy and social justice. You will leave with ideas for activities that you can use to help students approach information with a critical, justice-oriented mindset.

RSVP for the workshop with the CLSE here as well as at the event webpage linked above.

Following the workshop, email Erica Szeyller.1 to confirm your attendance for the full event time. If you were not able to attend the full event, email Erica Szeyller.1 to discuss the possibility of 5001 course points.
