Evaluate their existing course design and integration of DEIJ concepts, 2. Write goals for increasing inclusiveness in their classes with measurable outcomes, 3. Identify policies and structures to accommodate currently underserved student groups, 4. Incorporate diversity aligned curriculum to support existing learning outcomes, 5. Develop one activity for their courses using diversity aligned content, 6. Learn how to facilitate explicit discussions of bias, and 7. Develop an assessment plan for evaluating their interventions. Participants will also have access to a wide assortment pre-made materials ready to implement in their courses that are flexible for a variety of STEM classes focused on bias, representation of marginalized voices in STEM, and metacognitive development.
