Description
Have you ever wondered why some students eagerly engage in coursework, while others avoid studying? Why students can be either resilient when facing challenges or stop trying altogether? The difference is motivation! All students are capable of developing their motivation for learning, and instructors play an important role in this process. In this session, Dennis Learning Center staff will share key motivational principles from the field of educational psychology. You will then brainstorm methods for applying these insights to practice in order to empower your students with greater confidence in and ownership of their learning.
