This session on Feb. 9 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. will continue conversations started during November’s university assessment conference. Participants will discuss ways to institutionalize equity-minded assessments and engage in discussions about how assessment choices may perpetuate achievement gaps, including how to avoid these mistakes. 

By the end of the 90-minute workshop, participants will be able to link equity and assessment to student success, identify evidence-based methods of assessment that measure learning inclusively for all students, and understand the role of the instructor in ensuring equity in the learning process.
