Description
Students often express frustration related to citations, plagiarism and copyright. In order to grasp the rules and guidelines surrounding the ethical use of information, students must develop an understanding of the concept Information Has Value. The third workshop in the University Libraries’ Information Literacy Workshop Series, scheduled for Thursday, June 11 from noon - 1 p.m., will explore this core information literacy concept.
In this interactive virtual workshop, participants will identify some of the challenges that students face related to the Information Has Value concept and will learn practical strategies for helping students make sense of the legal and ethical responsibilities related to information creation, access and sharing.
