On Friday April 15th, CLSE will have a poster session during which students who have been involved in class-based undergraduate research instead of traditional labs, or who have participated in service learning, will present their work in a public scientific forum. We are very excited to see the products of the student experiences and think you will also be very interested in what they have done. For this reason, we are offering you the opportunity to attend the poster session and score four posters (one from each project type) regarding their scientific communication skills and then write a reflection paper comparing the success of the four experiences compared to our traditional courses. Attendance at the poster session, completion of the rubric for three posters and the reflection paper will be worth 4 5001 points.
