Description
This session will demonstrate how design-based research (DBR) creates effective frameworks for integrating rapidly evolving generative AI into biology education. We'll present Schema Study, a free, no-code AI application tested across multiple biology courses, with data showing high student adoption rates and improved self-efficacy. Attendees will learn practical strategies for implementing student-centered AI tools while exploring how educators can maintain pedagogical integrity amid continuously expanding AI capabilities.
