Description
Programmatic Assessment is a process of evaluating learning across a program. It has been described as a shift from assessment of learning to assessment for learning and is useful for encouraging self directed learning, understanding how learners achieve programmatic outcomes, as well as making decision about the efficacy of a curriculum. On April 12th at noon, the Drake Institute is convening a panel of curriculum designers from across the university via zoom to discuss how they have designed and implemented a programmatic assessment. In this session, participants will learn more about the value of programmatic assessment, as well as effective strategies for overcoming common obstacles to implementation.
After this workshop participants will be able to:
- Describe programmatic assessment.
- List common types of assessment data that are feasible to include in a programmatic assessment.
- Develop a plan for implementing a programmatic assessment.
You will receive Zoom link 24 hours prior to the start of the session.
If you have registered for this event, or are on the waitlist and require an accommodation such as live captioning or interpretation to participate, please contact drakeinstitute@osu.edu.
