Description
During this session we will discuss how instructors can implement inclusive teaching approaches during COVID-19, focusing on how to develop a better understanding of the diversity of learners, and using that knowledge to foster more welcoming and equitable environments. We will specifically examine the Who’s in Class? form and provide opportunities for participants to discuss ways in which they can learn more about their students to create more inclusive classrooms

Sit down with other engaged colleagues on Zoom. Based on research by the Summer Institutes, supports are three times more important than barriers in implementing Scientific Teaching in classrooms. Join us for support with the National Institute on Scientific Teaching, formerly the Summer Institutes (Bathgate et al., 2019a, 2019b).
