Description
The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Education Program supports the area of Strategic Diversity Planning, Training, and Assessment within The Office of Diversity and inclusion. Our goal is to support campus-wide efforts in creating an equitable, socially just institution where all of our students, faculty and staff feel they are valued and belong.

A fundamental component to skill building is practice. This 90-minute workshop offers participants the opportunity to practice the dialogue building skills and de-escalation techniques introduced in our Navigating Difficult DEI Conversations workshop. Participants will be given different workplace scenarios and will collaborate with one another to apply  these dialogue building and de-escalation skills in real time. *Note: This workshop is designed to be attended after our Navigating Difficult DEI Conversations workshop.

*This event will be presented with automated closed captions. If you are in need of additional CART services or other accommodations, please contact Sophia Antoun at Antoun.5@osu.edu or 614-292-2646. Requests made two weeks in advance will generally allow us to provide seamless access, but the university will make every effort to meet requests made after this timeframe.
IMPORTANT: This workshop includes a required reflection to link what you learned to your teaching.

Make sure you RSVP with the CLSE and the hosting unit!
