Description
As part of the 1113 course redesign, we gathered two groups of teaching assistants facilitated by Dave Sovic and Sarah Ball to create 25-minute teachable tidbits to be used in a lecture setting. During this session, each group will present their tidbit as well as their rationale when developing it. Participants will be asked to review the tidbits and provide constructive feedback to the presentation groups.
This is a great way to support your peers while learning more about student-centered instruction, and activity development.
The titles of the two presentations are:
** The Sciurus Case of the Black Squirrel
** Regulation of Gene Expression: New Tricks for Old Genes
