Description
Join us every other week for CLSE Seminar Series for presentations on teaching and learning! It can be challenging finding activities to use in your lectures, labs, and recitations: ** Where are they published? Are they open-access, or do they required paid membership? ** Are they field-tested? Are the directions clear? Will they work in your classroom? ** Are they evidence-based? Are their peer-reviewed for content accuracy and clarity? Additionally, it can be difficult to find appropriate places to publish your own activities: ** How can you get your activities peer reviewed? ** How can your activities reach a wider audience? CourseSource is an open-source journal with evidence-based, peer-reviewed, and classroom-tested activities designed for undergraduate biology classrooms of all sizes. It is free to download, and publish, activities! Come to this seminar series meeting to learn more about: ** What CourseSource is, and how to access activities ** How to develop, test, and publish activities to CourseSource ** How to conduct education research in the CLSE Please RSVP by clicking the link below.
