Description
Planning a course doesn’t just include creating CarmenCanvas modules, writing a syllabus, and designing assignments. You also need to organize your digital course materials and decide where to put them for easy access. Should you upload files into Carmen or share them from OneDrive? Should video recordings be saved in Carmen or linked from CarmenZoom or Mediasite?
This session will help you answer these questions, navigate best practices for file management, and understand sharing in OneDrive and collaboration options in Carmen. You will also learn effective strategies for file naming conventions and using the Carmen File Manager.

- In the sign in window, select Sign In with SSO.
- The domain is osu.zoom.us. Select Continue.
- Sign in using your Ohio State Username (lastname.#) and password.
If you have never used CarmenZoom, you will need to activate your account before you can access the session. Please download the desktop client, or the app if using a mobile device, and log into go.osu.edu/carmenzoom to activate your account. For help, visit Getting Started in CarmenZoom in the Teaching and Learning Resource Center. Be sure to test Zoom at least one hour in advance of the session and contact the Service Desk at 614-688-4357 or carmen@osu.edu if you have any issues.
