Join us every other week for CLSE Seminar Series for presentations of research in teaching and learning! This week Erica Szeyller will be giving an interactive update on a research project comparing the experiences of students in Face-to-Face (F2F) and Online versions of Human Biology. The CLSE has been an administering an online version of Human Biology since AU14. From the beginning, we have been collecting data on student experience, including: grades, motivation, and scientific literacy. At this seminar we will review the original findings, explore how the project continues to develop, think about effective study design, and reflect on differences in student motivation between the online and F2F environment.
