Description
Join us every other week for CLSE Seminar Series for presentations
of research in teaching and learning! This week Liz Beggrow will
be talking about her research on: A look at some contextual
effects on students’ reasoning about evolutionary change Trends
in introductory biology student reasoning elicited from a larger
comparative study will be presented with a discussion focused on
how (or whether) we apply this information to instruction. The
study the trends were drawn from investigated differences in
reasoning patterns between university biology and anthropology
students’ explanations of human and nonhuman evolutionary
