LEARNING GOALS After this session, participants will be able to: ** Review the university's expectations for summer 2020 courses ** Reflect on ways to create an online summer course that is manageable for both you and your students ** Make decisions about best practices for course format and online teaching strategies ** Create ways to interact with and support students in an online environment ** Locate further resources and assistance for teaching in an online context Do you have questions about teaching your summer term course online? Join us for an interactive workshop on planning a summer course that's manageable for you, flexible and effective for your students, and consistent with the special course-assurance requirements that have been set up for summer. You’ll have opportunities to reflect on key questions about course format, the use of CarmenCanvas and other technology, and teaching strategies.
