This session of Online with LSE will feature a discussion with Lisa McDonnell, Associate Teaching Professor, Cell and Developmental Biology, University of California at San Diego
There is a lot of discipline specific and technical vocabulary used in biology, but what “jargon” terms are difficult for students? During this session, we will discuss student perceptions of understanding and discrepancies in performance with the aim of understanding which jargon terms may be troublesome for students during their biology learning.
