FALCoN with Meryl Motika. Know your students - a university organized tool for equity.
Description
This week we'll discuss "Know Your Students", a set of dashboards and tools for instructors, with particular attention to a new self-paced training course for full access to the tools, the Class Transcript Analyzer (combine analysis of class chat with spoken word), and the Gradebook Equity Analyzer. While many of these tools are only available to UC Davis instructors, the Transcript Analyzer is available more broadly and similar dashboards exist at many other institutions. We will discuss how such tools can be used and what types of support might make them more useful to instructors. (Note that we had a speaker change as Marco Molinaro retired and Meryl is continuing to push this tool forward.)

Make sure you RSVP with the CLSE and the hosting unit!
·      RSVP for the workshop with the CLSE here by clicking “RSVP” in the upper right corner. If you decide not to attend, please “Cancel RSVP”.
·      Also RSVP with the hosting unit (if other than the CLSE) using the event webpage linked above.

Following the workshop, email Erica Szeyller.1 to document your attendance for the full event time. If you were not able to attend the full event, email Erica Szeyller.1 to discuss the possibility of 5001 course points.
