CRUST first meeting of the semester on September 6th at 1:30 will address two main tasks.
1) I would love to get your opinion on topics we should talk about or activities we should do this semester at our monthly or biweekly meetings. 2) Talk about how to learn your student's name and why it is important (Paper attached).

For anyone who needs a refresher, CRUST is a community for STEM TAs here at Ohio State with three primary focuses: 1) Professional development 2) Community building 3)Exploration of research-based teaching practices. CRUST will be great for people who are interested in pursuing a teaching position in the future or have a passion for education. To our knowledge, CRUST is the first and only student org at OSU that focuses on professional development for STEM educators. CRUST also provides a space for TAs to connect.
Following the workshop, email Toacca Roberts.2384@osu.edu to confirm your attendance for the full event time. If you could not attend the full event, email Toacca Roberts.2384 to discuss the possibility of 5001 course points.
