FACLoN with Katie Furniss. A Model for Developing Instructor Self-Awareness to Create Inclusive Teaching Spaces
Description
We want all of our students to have the same opportunities for learning in our classrooms/labs. When we read education research articles, attend workshops, or examine our own class/lab data, we are often inspired to make pedagogical changes. In this conversation, we will explore why developing our own self-awareness is a necessary first step to pedagogical change. We will also discuss the impacts and benefits of one model that uses department meetings to facilitate the development of self-awareness for all department members.

More details and RSVP link to be added at a later date once they become available.
