This is part four of the four-part “Documenting your Teaching” series led by Kay Halasek, Director of the Drake Institute for Teaching and Learning. It is intended for early career and pre-tenure faculty. In this session, Drake Institute faculty will lead participants in facilitated writing exercises. Participants are encouraged to have evaluative data (SEIs or other student evaluations, peer review reports, research on teaching) accessible during the session.

After this workshop participants will be able to:
- Identify the various data integral to creating effective documentation of teaching
- Interpret student evaluations and summarize and present evaluation data
- Synthesize available evidence as the grounds (or foundation) of a claim about their teaching
- Begin creating focused and effective teaching narratives that demonstrate reflective practice and a pattern of growth over time as a teacher
