Suicide is the second leading cause of death among U.S. college students. A certified REACH© instructor from Ohio State’s Campus Suicide Prevention Program will teach faculty, GTAs, and advising staff about prevention and early intervention techniques designed to help save a life from suicide. The training will provide participants with the knowledge and skills required to recognize warning signs and risk factors for suicide, practice on how to approach students in distress, and help students get access to campus and community mental health resources.
