Description
Note: this workshop is available for instructors eligible for the Instructional Redesign offered by The Drake Institute. If you are interested in developing a course for the new GE, please contact Amy Kulesza.5 - the CLSE has a number of courses in different stages of development.
Considering development of a new or revised course for the new GE? The Drake Institute for Teaching and Learning Instructional Redesign (IR) program offers an opportunity for instructors engaging in such course design and redesign projects to be recognized and incentivized for their work. In this information session, participants will learn about connections that exist between GE design/redesign and IR and will explore evidence-based strategies for course and instructional design that both support the development of quality GE proposals and satisfy requirements of IR. The Institute for Teaching and Learning knows of the significant time and effort required to propose a new or revised course for GE and seeks to recognize and support such efforts through IR.
Make sure you RSVP with the CLSE and the hosting unit!
